the time problem with saving environment

    1–2 minutes

People have a difficult time living out a set of principles that will bear fruit in 200 years.
It is difficult to sacrifice your life today (and endure the pain now) for a distant future that you will not know. More difficult is assuming your sacrifice in the present will be appreciated with a commensurate level of responsibility by future generations.

    Transfer memory into wisdom

    1–2 minutes

If all wisdom is from memory and you have a bad memory, how can you ever be wise?

You must find a way to embed wisdom/memory within your body: embodied knowledge.

    Competing against time alone

    1–2 minutes

People assume they are competing with the top 10% of the world, and they work to be the most attractive, compelling option.

It is not another guy, girl, or business you are competing with: you are attempting to replace their time alone.

    how to judge people

    1–2 minutes

    Some people show up.

Sounds simple, and there are always exceptions, but someone willing to spend their time and take action (not just verbal, digital, and mental time but actual time) are the ones you should prioritize.

    clockwork man: time uses us

    1–2 minutes

Since the invention of the clock, time can be wasted, which converts time into a resource to be controlled and mapped into productivity. Time can be used and optimized, pushed and manipulated, for our desires.

Instead, consider that time can use us.

Each process takes the time that it takes. Time guides our reactions and dictates outcomes. More is not possible; only acceptance (acquiescence) to the pace.

There is fear in the simplicity implied: we are only a mechanical appendage of time, a clockwork man performing at a heteronomic tempo. Yet, this reality has always existed and is quite preferable to modern anxiety and pressures of escalating production.

    Being Nice

    1–2 minutes

Be nice. In a utilitarian or economic sense, it pays off.
Fighting or proving you are exemplary, consequential, or brilliant may feel good, but it incurs wrath in the form of vengeance, obstruction, and spite.

The wise in ancient traditions are kind, if blunt. Don’t make your future harder for your ego in the present.

    Gift appearance

    1–2 minutes

The minute I get nervous, a gift arrives. This is not woo-woo, but simply a reality I have observed repeatedly. It is not a re-framing of the world but an inexplicable generosity from those who love me.

Bring your positive past into your present.

    Deferred life

    1–2 minutes

If life is anchored to something beyond life (a transcendent plane, such as heaven), you live life waiting or achieving another life elsewhere.

Your current existence is subjected to a future existence.

This can also happen in work, marriage, or ideology: living a life for a promised future, you will never encounter.

to reach the next level take a break

    1–2 minutes

Like a video game, you must conquer the level you are in to transcend.
Sometimes it takes a change of venue and a long-term release of tension to see your level clearly: take a sabbatical from the game to understand it.
your subconscious continues to work in the background, but you need to remove the repetitive challenges that block the pattern recognition from bubbling up.
