Having a good day seems to come from keeping things in perspective while being present.
One way to do this: shift frustration into being grateful because, at one point, the problem (responsibility or job or lack of a job) you have today was a desire you had in the past.
You made your world; take pleasure in it.

Entropy vs. Tenacity
°
1–2 minutesOur stubborn refusal to let the world fall apart is painfully costly. Yet, someone has to put in the energy to maintain the shape of things.
There are always offers of ease, often with a new language of priorities sidestepping difficulty. This is merely another entropy: the entropy of self. - Theme: Self
I hurt myself with your words
°
1–2 minutesInstead of “what you said hurt my feelings,” why don’t we say “I took what you said and I hurt myself”?
Take radical responsibility: create your world, don’t be reactive to the world.

Soft Spot for Nonsense
°
1–2 minutesIt seems apparent that we should turn from detrimental chaos and return to accountability, responsibility, and transparent governance structures.
Yet, on a personal level, to become responsible is difficult because we enjoy our "freedom": freedom defined as a release from obligation.
On a societal level, to turn away from nonsense appears limited to capitalist or bureaucratic "logic": logic defined by economics and institutions.
These challenges are due to a carefully nurtured naivety, a soft spot for nonsense. - Theme: Self
The goal of suffering
°
1–2 minutesLook at me suffer. I don’t want this. I did it to myself for you.
What is my goal? To repeatedly do something, even though it is irrational and painful, is a pattern to get results: attention, affirmation, validation, pity, or to signal misalignment.Take responsibility for perpetuating your pain, or you will forever excuse your suffering upon the world and others.

Workplace tactic
°
1–2 minutesNo problem gets solved until the last minute. Up to the deadline people freely offer feedback and concerns, criticisms. But in the last hour they abdicate responsibility and criticality, tending to become suddenly otherwise occupied, especially if pushed to expound or do actual work.
Knowing this, you can use it to your advantage to strengthen social alliances and become the hero rather than being repeatedly upset at the folly of it all.
