Wisdom is where we stop thinking and begin applying the "form" of rationality.
Wisdom is the catchphrase, clever reversal, and cautious reminder that collapses into context-specific, contradictory back-pats and butt-kicks when examined.

I thought I was standing still
°
1–2 minutesI once had a neighbor who wanted me to place a sign in my front yard. (I’m not even going to tell you what the sign was for.)
When I said no, he replied "If you are in the same car with criminals you are guilty, too."
A trick of perspective: I thought I was standing on the curb, but as he sped by he saw me as moving in the opposite direction. - Theme: Growth
Alien Invasion or Live in a 3rd World Country?

The privilege of determination says much: the global vs the local, novelty or poverty?

Awareness v Attention
°
1–2 minutesAttention is a flashlight we point to direct focus, often leaving us blind to the rest of our surroundings.
Awareness is an eternally vigilant, always present state of consciousness, often drowned out by the rationalizing mind attempting to achieve some purpose. - Theme: Self
Impulse to manufacture
°
1–2 minutesWhen we have a spare moment, it is a survival imperative to look around and act: to plan or consume, to create.
Thoughtfully progressing from the external inward, we self-assess and label our feelings to more deftly acknowledge and manifest them.
We constantly manufacture and work to maintain a state instead of just being here.

Emotional you: your best self
°
1–2 minutesThere are moments of renewal, where you have returned to a generous version of yourself: the thing that would’ve disrupted you yesterday is a laughable matter today.
The ability to recognize that you are not a consistent self, but an emotionally driven collection of circumstances is vital to maintaining the best version of yourself.

Delay damages
°
1–2 minutesThere is always one more hurdle, and the time is never right.
Instead, could you move the moment you feel it? Don’t delay even a second: be spontaneous and find yourself living a fuller (more authentic) life. - Theme: Systems
Binary thinking confounds reality
°
1–2 minutesOur most significant flaw is binary thinking: winner-loser, zero-one, black-white. Binary categorization makes separateness and opposition fundamental.
In reality, the world is highly relationally contingent. There are no objects or fixity so much as processes over time. The environment evokes action from an organism, yet we attribute the move as coming from the individual, using it to describe them. Yet, there is no individual without the environment and no action without interactive (shared) evocation.

Life as a puzzle or a garden
°
1–2 minutesWe tend to think if you remove a piece of your life it can be replaced with a new, more thoughtfully chosen priority.
But controlling life as a puzzle is a nightmare: pieces shrink, expand, and multiply when you are not looking.
We cannot trade portions of life. Life is rhizomatic and flowing: to remain living it needs boundaries and weeding, not rigidity.
