  • Theme:

    Unseen become under developed

    1–2 minutes

Your unseen qualities are not valued. Therefore they tend to be underdeveloped.

To awaken and nurture the multiple aspects of yourself you must create (or find) the conditions that grow your underdeveloped attributes. This is necessarily uncomfortable; embrace it.

  • Theme:

    try being nobody

    1–2 minutes

It’s hard to be somebody; try being nobody.
Consider the weight of being "somebody," and how that persona drags you through a life of desires and mechanical repetitions.

To begin being nobody, continually ask "why?"

  • Theme:

    practicing your voice

    1–2 minutes

Why should you have that awkward conversation when you may never encounter that person again? Might as well skip it.

Specifically, you should have an uncomfortable conversation because you will never encounter that person.

You must practice voicing who you are in various situations, enabling you to regulate your emotions and engage your intellect while voicing your opinions.

    Practice voicing who you are.

  • Theme:

    Losing your nice guy shield

    1–2 minutes

Being a nice guy is a role, like being a strong guy, or a smart guy.

The "nice guy" shield will eventually be knocked away, revealing your brutal simplicity. The goal is to accept this naked self (this monstrous ego of need).

Beyond embarrassment or shame, being revealed sheds the excess effort spent spinning convoluted illusions for defense.

  • Theme:

    Confidence reversal

    1–2 minutes

There are moments when you are ill-prepared, relying on who you are to carry you through.

At these moments, you are ill-prepared for attacks: off-balance and responding poorly

A seeming loss in these moments is still a win: to remain whole without harming yourself or others is more inspiring than reactionary flailing.

  • Theme:

    returning to comfort

    1–2 minutes

The wish to return is strong. The nostalgic return to comfort is a place from which you may heal, but equally, it has the potential to poison. In turning from risk, one can avoid the hardships of growth and embrace stagnation.
This regressive stability is only life in the most rudimentary sense.

  • Theme:

    arguing produces loss

    1–2 minutes

Arguing over the best way to do something is the best way not to do anything.
And since you do nothing, no one is to blame. It would be easy to say that with no winners, there are no losers, but instead, we all lose.

  • Theme:

to reach the next level take a break

    1–2 minutes

Like a video game, you must conquer the level you are in to transcend.
Sometimes it takes a change of venue and a long-term release of tension to see your level clearly: take a sabbatical from the game to understand it.
your subconscious continues to work in the background, but you need to remove the repetitive challenges that block the pattern recognition from bubbling up.

  • Theme:

    the enemy within

    1–2 minutes

We often compete with and demonize our colleagues or family members.
However, proximity and familiarity are tragic standards upon which to focus your destructive drives. Instead, you should consider the broader world in which you must ultimately succeed.

To win over your family, classroom, or office is a small-minded and hollow victory. To work against your comrades is to sabotage your stability.

  • Theme:

    Complicit Road Kill

    1–2 minutes

How we shape our world shapes us: the dead raccoon on the side of the road is an antiquated species amidst the speed of progress.

Unfortunately, humans become the next inconvenient casualty as technology outruns our slow flesh.

It remains true: how you treat others will become your fate.
