    innocence is to be feared

    1–2 minutes

Moral people behave poorly, while many with integrity have no rules.

The recognition of this is to grasp absurdity and strip away all justifications.

Here, you are innocent, not naive but not justifying anything, living outside of dictated morality.

In this sense, the innocent is dangerous.(idea from Albert Camus)

    Decisions used as interpersonal alignment

    1–2 minutes

You can gather advice, hear out your friends and family, see where the weather blows, and heed your gut. At some point, you decide, mainly because you can no longer deal with the indecision.
It is easy afterward to use a personal decision as an alignment tool: return to those whose advice aligned with your gut, and endear them to you by praising their wisdom.

They may feel endearment, a warm glow, and then start advising you constantly.

    Virtue as separation

    1–2 minutes

you seem to think by separating yourself from the world, you will hold onto your virtue.

Is there a virtue in living in this world but not being of this world?

    Feedback from Systemic Distortion

    1–2 minutes

The problem with relying on feedback is that it interprets the event and modifies it into an "abstract" (simplified) form.
Feedback systems are "negative governors" that moderate "positive energy" to attain an equilibrium, but when feedback is distorted, your corrections are distorted.

The key to destabilizing a system is not a direct attack but warping and weakening the means to sustain it.

Warping mediating abstractions (such as values or morals) also works on humans. Our social norms are crowdsourced, distort the norms and the values destabilize society.

    The moral bully

    1–2 minutes

First: you will never understand. I am either more enlightened, more oppressed, or more sympathetic than you.

Second: if you agree, the drama gets worse. If you disagree, you are a monster.

Third: do nothing. Observe. There will be plenty to do later.

  • Theme:

    Delevate yourself

    1–2 minutes

People become things through elevation: as we separate ourselves from a laborer, he becomes a function, a means-to-an-end, and a tool. Objectification occurs through difference.
You can work to flatten and disperse your relating.

    Marx was old fashioned

    1–2 minutes

Karl Marx was a revolutionary in his time and is still such today. However, he was regressive (conservative) morally.
His values, the values of communism, held to an early tribal or even Catholic disposition: cost should not disrupt/corrupt the importance of humanity or the value of souls.

  • Theme:

    The greater good

    1–2 minutes

To zoom out and see the larger picture over the long term is to abstract the individuals into system components.

Our current ideology, focused on the value of individuals, is at odds with the classic authoritarian willingness to sacrifice to progress.

Now progress must come through the demands of individuals: we must be slyly persuaded to believe in the “good” of the larger picture, subordinating ourselves into cogs determined to make more cogs.

    Morality is an Evolutionary Tactic

    1–2 minutes

Evolution plays a numbers game in which survival is based on vast losses.

Applied to politics, one strategy is population growth equating to value proliferation, another is infection for utilization, and a third is hivemind colonization.

Survival requires confrontation (genocide), adaptation (symbiosis), or resources applied to stagnation (equilibrium).
Nature is agnostic to your moral conceits but as tactics for consensus amplification, they are tremendous survival protocols.

    being “good” isn’t

    1–2 minutes

To be "good," we follow a guide, an abstract image of what a "good person" does.
Attempting to "do the right thing" covers your authentic self, but the repressed emotions remain (primarily resentment).
Rather than being good, be wholly you: an authentic individual expressing feelings, and you may find you are naturally good when not repressing into conformity.
