Seeing the Hole

If you can’t see the whole, you can’t see the hole you’re in.

Tunnel vision along a single path—be it ideology, habit, or argument—digs us deeper into a self-made maze. Entrenched, we miss our own contradictions, blind spots, and the broader view that reveals the exit.

Escape requires stopping and stepping back to grasp the totality, not doubling down in the trench, digging deeper, working harder to hide from the light.
