    Decisions used as interpersonal alignment

    1–2 minutes

You can gather advice, hear out your friends and family, see where the weather blows, and heed your gut. At some point, you decide, mainly because you can no longer deal with the indecision.

They may feel endearment, a warm glow, and then start advising you constantly.

Make sure you go beyond what you feel before you act.

Our natural instinct is to relieve ourselves of pain (negative), but many times in our thrashing for equilibrium we harm others.

    brute force solution

    1–2 minutes

Whether opening a pickle jar, debugging software, or growing your business, brute force is often the go-to move.
You can apply more force, more hours, more power, more dollars, or more bullshit.
This phase of problem-solving is when you are familiarizing yourself through practical experience — literally "feeling it out" — which grows into instinct and eventually begets elegant solutions.
